Enter the castle where some of Denmark’s most colourful kings and queens have lived — and today houses the Crown Jewels.
Rosenborg Castle is a beautiful historic building and a fascinating museum of cultural history. Located in the King’s Gardens it houses some of Denmark’s greatest treasures, not least the Crown Jewels and the Danish Crown Regalia. Among the main attractions of Rosenborg is the Long Hall with the coronation throne with three silver lions standing guard. And beneath the castle, the three treasuries with the Crowns and the Crown Jewels.

- We would be doing them on two separate days. I wasn’t sure if 1.5 hours would be enough for Rosenborg but sounds like it is. We will be staying right around the corner from there so could alway go back to the gardens if we felt shorted. The Copenhagen card didn’t really make sense based on the calculator.
- A few weeks ago, I shared my many many photos our visit at the Rosenborg Slot Gardens (Kongens Have). Most importantly, we were there visiting Rosenborg Slot (Castle). It was one of our only paid visits and it was a really fun one.
